伊芙亚特Ilias

$58.00

The "Ilias" rose, also known as "Iliad," was developed by Takashi Kimura from Japan in 2018.

Rose Variety - "Ilias": This rose grows to a height of 80 cm, with blooms in a bluish-purple shade. The flower has a medium-sized, double-layered structure with delicate, finely layered petals, giving it a romantic and elegant lavender hue. It has a strong, warm fragrance and blooms throughout all four seasons, but its growth rate is relatively slow. The petals have a pale bluish hue, with numerous thin layers forming a delicate double bloom. The fragrance has the typical intensity of blue-toned roses, giving off a sweet, rich scent.

The "Ilias" rose is particularly notable for its resilience in maintaining its purple-blue color. Even in high summer temperatures, the number of petals remains relatively unchanged, and the color does not easily turn pink or red, overcoming a common issue with blue roses.

Takashi Kimura's Notes: "Among the many purple roses in the nursery, 'Ilias' stood out with an aura that deeply captivated me at first glance. The name 'Ilias' originates from the Greek epic poem by Homer, 'The Iliad.' People, driven by various desires, created stories and made history. This rose, 'Ilias,' gives me a sense that perhaps in those ancient times, people's hearts resonated with this color and this style."
